Lehi, UT – November 9 , 2018 – Lauren Walker, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Young Living Essential Oils —the world leader in essential oils—was named Guest of Honour at IMPACT Magazine's Women of IMPACT Honourary Black Tie Affair in Washington, D.C., on November 4. The ceremony honoured exceptional female business leaders who make a significant impact in their professional industries and local communities.

Walker oversees Young Living’s rigorous sourcing standards, which ensure that the essential oils from its corporate-owned and partner farms all over the world are the highest quality and are ethically and legally sourced. Since joining Young Living in 2016, Walker has refined and established processes that help the company provide the best products and services to its customers. Such processes include opening the Young Living Memphis Distribution Centre, which services 35 states.

Throughout her three-decade career with high-profile international companies, Walker has established herself as a leader and an innovator in streamlining global systems. After completing her engineering degree, she worked for Xerox as an engineer, followed by 10 years with Procter & Gamble in supply chain, manufacturing/technical operations, and quality. She also worked for seven years with Johnson & Johnson as a plant manager and as program manager of its oral care franchise. Prior to joining Young Living in 2016, she was vice president of manufacturing at Amway, where she was responsible for manufacturing across all product lines: nutrition, home care, personal care, beauty care, durable goods, and paper products.

In addition to her extensive experience, Walker serves on several boards of directors, including the Salt Lake Chamber. She has also been a keynote speaker for the American Manufacturing Strategies Summit and the Front End of Innovation Conference.
